Dr Mark Rapaport

Mark Hyman Rapaport is the President of the American Psychiatric Association. He is currently an adjunct Professor of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at tyhe Stanford University School of Medicine. He was the founding CEO of the Huntsman Mental Health Institute at the University of Utah and was the Chair of the Department of Psychiatry. Prior to that he Chaired the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Emory University School of Medicine and Co-founded and Co-directed the Emory Brain Health Center. He also served as the Chair of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences at Cedars-Sinai. He has published over 200 papers and edited 4 books. He founded the ASCP New Investigators Program and has trained hundreds of new investigators.
